We are proud to honor the Village of Oregon with the Investment in Infrastructure Achievement Award. The Village has consistently demonstrated a long-term commitment to enhancing the lives of its residents through infrastructure upgrades, and we are happy to recognize their commitment with this award.
— Stan Sugden, R/M President

In partnership with R/M, the Village of Oregon has made incredible advancements to the community’s infrastructure, including systemic upgrades to its storm water management system, major street improvements, and new subdivision developments.

“The Village of Oregon recognizes the importance of investing in our community’s infrastructure in order to maintain an exceptional standard of living for our residents,” said Mike Gracz, the Village Administrator. “We are grateful to Ruekert & Mielke for their continued partnership in this mission and for their generous sponsorship of our donation to the Oregon Youth Center, an invaluable community resource.”

Communities that receive the Investment in Infrastructure Achievement Award are gifted $1,000 to donate to a local non-profit of their choice. The Village of Oregon opted to give their donation to the Oregon Youth Center, a free program that supports young people in grades five through nine. The center provides a safe, supervised place for young members of the community to gather after school and in the summertime.

“We are so grateful to the Village of Oregon and Ruekert & Mielke for this kind and generous donation to our program,” said Diane Newlin, Director of the Oregon Youth Center.  “The donation will go towards our general operational fund, which makes it possible for our program to continue to run.  We are beyond thankful for the continued support of our program by the Village of Oregon.”
