The Village of Huntley is a vibrant, growing community that is home to a large retirement population in Huntley, Illinois. With some partnered assistance from Ruekert & Mielke, Inc., the Village implemented VUEWorks in 2018. The long-overdue asset management solution enabled the team to create a robust, systemic sidewalk maintenance program, the Pedestrian Access Route (PAR) Inspection & Repair Program.
By utilizing the Work Orders and Saved Projects features/tools, the Village of Howard has stayed on top of municipal customer requests and more effectively managed their own tasks.
For the City of Shawano, municipal records were kept on paper. The GIS data that the City and Shawano Municipal Utilities (SMU) actively maintained was often in redundant files and scattered across departments. The City knew that their solution was not functional for the long-term, and sought a comprehensive GIS solution that would provide a cohesive system for all departments across the City.
The Village of Somers has been recently experiencing rapid growth and expansion, and lies just north of the City of Kenosha, on the extended periphery of the Chicagoland area. New development has triggered the need for additional infrastructure as well as consideration of the adequacy of the existing infrastructure. The Village wanted to identify and account for their upcoming capital improvement needs, and brought in Ruekert & Mielke, Inc. (R/M) to facilitate this process.
