Cory Horton, P.E. Brings Vast Civil Engineering Expertise to THE Firm’s Madison, WI Office

Employee-owned civil engineering firm, Ruekert & Mielke, Inc. (R/M), is excited to announce the addition of Cory Horton, P.E., CFM, CPESC, EnvSP as a Client Team Leader on their Civil Engineering Team in Madison, Wisconsin.

Horton brings more than 25 years of engineering experience in both public and private consulting sectors. Horton has also served as a Director of Public Works for a municipality in the Madison area, giving him a unique perspective on how to solve client challenges.

We are thrilled to welcome Cory Horton as the newest employee owner on our Madison team,” said Stan Sugden, President & CEO of R/M. “Cory’s broad engineering expertise and experience as a DPW will significantly benefit our clients in the Madison area.

Horton has extensive experience in municipal engineering, water resources, development, geotechnical, and environmental engineering. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Horton is a licensed professional engineer with professional certifications in floodplain management, erosion sediment control, and sustainability. Horton is actively involved in the civil engineering and municipal communities, serving as a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Public Works Association (APWA).

Horton will be based out of R/M’s Madison, Wisconsin office and will contribute his expertise to R/M clients and staff at all locations.
